The air entering the sterilizer chamber passes through the ANTY-DUST filter placed near the inlet. Here, the largest particles are blocked to prevent contamination of the germicidal lamp reflectors. Then, the air passes directly through a low-pressure mercury lamp, which thanks to UVC rays with a wavelength precisely emitted at 253.7 nm destroys all microorganisms. The high reflection coefficient of the chamber mirrors concentrates the UVC rays, increasing the effectiveness of a radiation interaction. The disinfected and purified air that returns is released through the final nozzle, completing the effective cleaning process.
