Bader European Syringe The European syringe is used in dentistry to administer local anesthesia precisely. It is designed to hold standard 1.8 ml anesthetic cartridges and allows aspiration, ensuring that it is not injected into a blood vessel accidentally. This design provides the dentist with improved control during injection, increasing both the safety and effectiveness of anesthesia in dental procedures. Features: Up to 1.8 ml. Allows the use of all standardized anesthetic cartridges (1.8 ml) with rubber stopper (solid and hollow stopper). Material: stainless steel. Autoclavable. No aspiration. Length: 14.5 cm. Handling of the syringe: 1. Using the ring, retract the plunger rod completely. 2. Insert the cartridge placing first the side of the rubber stopper. 3. Hold the cartridge and slide the syringe plunger forward. 4. With the needle, pierce the cartridge membrane in the center while screwing the needle. It is recommended to mount the needle a few moments before proceeding with the injection. After dispensing a few drops of injectable solution, the syringe will be ready to use. After injection: 1. Retract the syringe plunger to separate the barb from the cartridge stopper. 2. Separate the cartridge from the needle, if necessary using your thumb. Information for sterilization. It is recommended to sterilize the syringe in an autoclave after each use and store it in a sterile environment or in alcohol (isopropyl alcohol or 70% ethyl alcohol). Maintenance of the syringe: To make the syringe's service life as long as possible, it should be disassembled to clean all blood and saliva residues. The silicone on the barb should be brushed thoroughly. When a lateral leak of anesthetic solution is detected during injection, this will indicate that there is a deformation of the rubber membrane caused by the needle. To avoid this deformation, care should be taken that the needle pierces the membrane completely straight.
