It is used when the prosthetist needs to create anatomy on a dental piece with finer burs. The shank is designed as a clamping collet that holds itself. Once inserted, the instrument remains in the adapter until it is discarded. With a gentle turn of the Chuck, the burs fit perfectly to be worked in the laboratory. * Does not include bur block.
