Legionella treatment – Protection against nosocomial infections Our 13000L Bader Legionella filter is the perfect solution to protect against Legionella pneumophilia or legionellosis and other water pathogens that can cause nosocomial infections. Designed with a double layer of hollow fiber Polysulfone, our filter is capable of filtering any type of bacteria larger than 0.075 µm, producing sterile-grade water and complying with ISO 9001:2008 regulations. Bader certifies you: Approval Installation certificate Sampling plan Characteristics of the Legionella Filter: Capacity of 13000L. Immunizes the equipment against water pathogens in general. Filters any type of bacteria larger than 0.075 µm. Technical specifications of the Water Filter: Complies with ISO 9001:2008 regulations. Membrane type: double layer of hollow fiber Polysulfone. Membrane values: 0.075 µm and water flow 10L/min at 1.5 – 3 bars. Filter housing material: medical-grade ABS. Length of 62,000 cm² of hollow fiber in the filtration area. Maximum use conditions: From 1.5 to 25 bars at 60ºC. 70ºC for 30 minutes. 300 ppm of chlorine for 12h. Legionella prevention and control: Where is the Legionella filter placed? It can be placed in any dental equipment, it is universal, but we always recommend doing it at the water inlet of the chair. When do I have to change my Legionella filter? It has a duration of approximately two years or a filtration capacity of 13000L, although this duration is approximate since it will always depend on the amount of water and the use of dental clinics. Is a technician necessary for its installation? A specialist technician is not necessary to carry out a correct installation. Is it disposable? Yes, completely disposable. Like the amalgam filter, this type of filters must be replaced with new ones after the established time and/or filtration liters capacity specified in each one. What differences are there between the 6000L Legionella filter and the 13000L one? Apart from the difference in liters there is another great difference between both. The 6000L Legionella filter allows nanofiltration (technique applied for water purification, elimination of organic substances, etc.) incorporating a carbon filter of between 5-10 µm. *This item is non-returnable*
