Matrix holder 5 mm Bader. The 5 mm matrix holder is a dental instrument used in operative dentistry for placing metal or plastic matrices around a tooth during restorative procedures, mainly in proximal cavities or with loss of dental walls. Recommended use: Placement of dental matrices: It serves to hold and adjust the matrix bands around the tooth, creating an artificial wall that allows containing the restorative material (composite resins, amalgams, among others). Restoration of proximal cavities: It is mainly used in class II cavities (mesial or distal) where a dental wall is missing. It facilitates shaping and contouring the restoration, allowing adaptation to the tooth anatomy. Adaptation in small teeth: Being 5 mm, it is especially indicated for small teeth such as premolars or areas where a more adjusted matrix is required. Characteristics: Material: Stainless steel. Autoclavable. Length: 8 cm.
