The periodontal typodont without articulator is a didactic model specially designed for teaching and practicing periodontal diseases in a preclinical environment. Thanks to its high level of detail, it allows the student to visually and practically understand the evolution of pathologies such as gingivitis and periodontitis, from initial stages to more advanced states. The model includes maxilla and mandible manufactured in resistant duroplastic material, with 28 screwable teeth that present realistic anatomical roots. It incorporates elastic, removable and replaceable gums, which simulate different clinical states, including inflammation, gingival recession and dental abrasion caused by brushing. In addition, one of the quadrants shows in detail the presence of dental calculus, facilitating the identification of both supragingival and subgingival deposits. Features: the removable buccal gum, which allows a more precise observation of the underlying structures, and the representation of subgingival calculus, fundamental for learning the diagnosis and periodontal treatment. Its design is compatible with any type of phantom, which facilitates its integration into clinical simulation environments. This typodont constitutes an essential tool for dental training, since it allows explaining and practicing in a realistic way the conditions of periodontal disease, improving understanding, clinical skill and the student's diagnostic ability before facing real situations.
