METASYS water decontamination systems disinfect the water used in a dental chair, as well as the water-carrying pipes, and effectively prevent the formation of limescale. Thus, the tap and devices such as syringes, rotary, ultrasonic, among other devices used in the hoses of a dental chair, can be supplied with decontaminated water. – Helps prevent the generation of Biofilm and the accumulation of limescale and algae in the dental chair water lines. – Promotes greater cleanliness of the dental suction system. PRIOR INFORMATION PROBLEM: Temperatures of 37 °C inside the water lines of dental chairs, relatively long rest times and the return of handpieces, promote the growth of bacteria and fungi, which can cause microbial contamination (Example: Legionella) of the water pipes and consequently of the water in them. Likewise, the large contact surface inside the hose system and the plastic they are made of, favors the rapid growth of bacteria that begin to settle on the walls of the hose system after a few days; favoring the contamination of the water that circulates through them and the deposit of algae and limescale that end up generating costly blockages in the instruments used. SOLUTION: The WEK Light water decontamination system from Metasys effectively prevents the accumulation of limescale and algae in the dental chair lines and continuously decontaminates the water used in them. The system consists of a perfectly calibrated pump that injects the appropriate dose of the Green & Clean WK (Metasys) decontaminant into the dental chair water flow and thereby: The 2% Hydrogen Peroxide solution ==> continuously decontaminates the water, The algae and limescale inhibitors present in said solution ==> effectively prevent the accumulation of limescale and algae and consequently the blockages that these can generate in the instruments, and All this completely safely for the patient.
